Japan Relief for Animals
After seeing the devastation in Japan I am donating 50% of all my sales for March and April to World Vets to help the animals displaced and injured by the earthquake and tsumnai. You can shop at my Etsy shop here or by e-mailing me for prints of any photographs on this site.
My husband works in Japan regularily and many of his colleagues have family in the northern portion of Japan and still are waiting on news about them. We are praying and hoping they will find their family and everyone will be safe.
I have decided to donate to World Vets both because I was formerly a veterinary technician for 10 years and because one of our dogs came from Japan. She came over as a puppy with her owners and they could not keep her active enough in their apartment in the states. She was given to our veterinary clinic to adopt out and my husband, having recently lost his samoyed, immediately fell in love with the fuzzy white dog with a pink nose! I just read a story from World Vets about a large Shiba Inu that looks like our Kailie that was just rescued from the devastation yesterday. I am so glad there are still some survivors being found and helped!
